BUNBURY DYNAMOS APPLY FOR WOMEN’S STATE LEAGUE 2017

MATCH OF THE ROUND METRO DIVISION ONE

Metro Division One Current Second Placed Team Dynamos are looking to make the move into the Perth State League in 2017.

The club come with a strong winning pedigree from the South West competition.

Led by former State Players Lisa Ward and Deb Farrell (Dynamos Ladies Ambassador), the coaching team of Dave Goldsmith Nancey Kusin, Goal Keeper Coach Michael Caddy and a host of capable young players, Dynamos have consistently maintained numbers and performances throughout this year in Metro Division One. Maintaining numbers has been one of the downfalls of Bunbury sides in previous forays into Perth state leagues.

If their place in WSL is determined by performance then they thoroughly deserve it. However the hard yards come with having to supply multiple teams to support their WSL application.

Let’s not forget WNPL is coming and clubs who want the profile and top level of competition will be searching for entry into the current WSL to achieve that.

THE MATCH OF THE ROUND this week must be Melville MD1 v Bunbury Dynamos at Winthrop today at 1pm.

The outcome of this match will determine the league and Melville will have to pull out all stops to retain their place at the top of the league in their last two games. Only one point separates the two sides.

You couldn’t find two sides with such differing styles. Melville play with a central group of long lived club players who play with pure passion and alongside multiple combinations of youthful support from the junior players within the club.

Dynamos have a structured disciplined style that is tough to break down. The heart of their team is Lisa Ward, a vocal, physical, talented committed Bunbury player through and through.

It will be a cracking game!
