The Premier and State League Division will be two divisions of 7 teams each in 2017 due to the number of clubs withdrawing from the State League.
Other league placings are yet to be advised.
The Womens Standing Committee are working hard to connect the clubs and lobby Football West for a sustainable competition model leading into a Womens NPL. This process started Monday night with a State League club meeting at Celebration Park Balga.
When will a Women’s NPL be introduced, who knows? Should it be based on the mens model which is receiving much time and resources from Football West currently. Should it be regionalised, a feeder programme, expanded numbers…?
Give your feedback and help the Standing Committee lobby Football West.
