The team trained at the QBE Country Week venue, Beale Park, twice throughout the week-long championships, to give the regional competitors a sneak peak at this year’s new squad, as well as provide an opportunity for the youngsters to meet some of their idols.

Perth Glory Women players Tanya Oxtoby, Elisa D’Ovidio and Shannon May, as well as injured Westfield Matilda Sam Kerr (whom this year’s Under 14’s Girls competition is named after) made sure to greet the future stars, and took time to sign posters, boots and shirts as well as pause for some happy snaps!
