One of two sisters hailing from Northam and who played together in the Western Australian state team at the National Championships and Australian team at the World Women’s Tournament in Taiwan in 1978.
The WA side in the mid to late 1970’s were a young, skilful and well bonded group by all accounts and won National titles in 1975 and 1978. Teresa was selected as Captain in 1973. Clearly showing her leadership skills, she was further elected as the first female President of the Western Australian Women’s Soccer Association in 1975.
