Following the success of the Socceroos and a series of Girls Open Days attended by Glory and senior club players, registrations have exploded.
Melville girls teams in the 11-17 age groups will be at capacity by the end of the week if the current intake continues. The club is looking at ways to accommodate the unprecedented growth.
Already there are over 40 girls in the 17s group, over 30 in the 13s and 11s.
With such unexpected growth and team entries having to be finalised with Football West next week, the club needs parents and volunteers to step forward and support the expansion with coaching and in management roles.
Melville City has a strong internal development philosophy for both players and coaches.
Supported by Director of Coaching Peter Rickers, volunteer rebates and other incentives to upskill and support our growing younger groups.
