It’s Finals and Representative Honours Time. Bayswater have taken out the NPLWA and Top Four Cup and now go on to challenge Heidelberg at Inglewood on Sunday for the NPL Champions Trophy. The WA State team drew with Perth Glory on Wednesday night. Wleague fixtures are out. Bunbury, NIB and Dorrien Gardens share the spoils. The new Wleague pay deal will hopefully cement the pathway for our young stars making tough sport choices. West Aussies Lisa DeVanna and Sam Kerr lead the Matildas on Saturday against Marta and the Brazilian team in front of a sell out crowd in Penrith. The ParaRoos are flying the flag in Argentina and the Socceroos have to work hard to make the World Cup, with Syria next up in October.
Join the team and their guests, bantering all of that and more:
Gordon Duus, Football West Inclusive Development Officer, on Africa Down Under Cup and ParaRoos
Kate Gill, Professional Footballers Australia, on the WLeague pay deal and PFA awards.
Bobby Taneski, Balga SC, on the Club’s new Fee Free Junior Football policy
Craig Deans, Newcastle Jets WLeague Coach, on the Matildas Tournament and WLeague
