Katie Schubert, Shannon May, Emily Henderson and Thia Eastman will take groups of players through fun drills and small-sided games.

Football West Female Development Manager Sam Watkins said the event would provide great exposure for the game.

“This is an excellent opportunity for young girls to see how much fun football can be and hopefully we can encourage the girls to continue with the sport,” she said.

“We are delighted that the Glory players are able to come along and support this program.”

Schubert, who is also UWA-Nedlands’ Technical Director, is excited to host so many budding female footballers.

“It is a great opportunity for young females to foster their love for the game and interact with a few of the top-notch local glory players,” she said.

“With this program we hope to provide a platform especially through UWA-Nedlands’ wonderful MiniRoos and Joey programs for Women’s football to continual growth in WA now and into the future.”
