Women’s Soccer Continues To Grow At North Beach

Over the last few years at North Beach Soccer Club the number of female players participating in the sport has steadily increased. North Beach is very proud of its girls and women’s teams and is keen to attract more players in the coming seasons.

Girl’s teams are becoming more and more popular with girls able to compete in girls only teams from the age of 11 and continuing up to the age of 17. There are increasing numbers of girls playing in the mixed teams starting as young as 5 years old.

This season, North Beach is hoping to register at least two, possibly three, Bankwest Metropolitan Women’s League teams.

We have a great bunch of players with a great commitment to the game and the team. Experienced players and first time players are encouraged to come and join us for a kick around and if you like what you experience then sign up.

The Clubrooms are situated on the southern side of Charles Riley Reserve on Williamson Way in North Beach. The club is run by volunteers and has a friendly, fun atmosphere.

Midweek training nights are bustling with juniors, senior teams and girls and women’s teams all working together in preparation for weekend competitions.

Sundays are always busy with junior teams competing in the mornings and the senior and women’s teams taking to the field in the afternoons.

The club has a thriving canteen offering quality refreshments to players and supporters. The outdoor café al fresco area is perfectly placed for supporters to watch the games while enjoying a drink, a coffee or some yummy food. Players and visiting teams gather after their games to socialize and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

Players interested in joining the North Beach Soccer club are encouraged to contact the womens_vicepresident@nbsc.org.au or phone Belinda 9447 5136.
