The World Masters Games is in New Zealand 2017. There are several WA ladies groups and teams over the age of 30 looking to get representative squads together to travel to Auckland. Football West and Womens Standing Committee have been approached for support. If you are interested there are some terrific club people out there like Mhairi Glover (Subiaco) and Sylvia Jenkins (Peel United) who are trying to initiate travelling teams. Have a chat to your mates and start the ball rolling. Wouldn’t it be great to get a group of teams in various age brackets going on the same plane, staying at the same place and with the same sponsors? It’s the Worlds largest multi sport event.
