WSC Meeting Monday 12th December

The Women’s Standing Committee have a meeting Monday and these topics are on the agenda:

1. state league rules- uniform game times etc
(it is proposed to introduce uniform game times not only in the New State League Division One, but right across the State League, yes for Premier competition as well.  Main reasons are to be able to promote games at consistent times to the public enable clubs to give womens highest teams recognition within their own clubs and to avoid any unfair practices by clubs- it makes it a level playing field for all. It is fair to say there are only 2 known objections amongst all the State League clubs to having uniform times)
2. night series will be expanded- venues required
The State League Night Series will be rather expanded in 2012 with 18 possible teams (8 in Premier and 10 in Division One).  Three venues are needed so if your club can offer a suitable venue please be in touch with Football West.
3. ntc programmes
(what are your thoughts on success/other of the NTC programmes this year, use of venues and resources player mobility and useage etc and generally how they operate?)
4. Football West AGM is Wednesday 14th at Perth SC and all members are welcome
(item on the agenda is introduction of Life Membership to Football West)
5. Other items?

This will be the last meeting for the WSC until after the New Year.

Congratulations to all the clubs for making it into the State League.  The WSC have worked hard to help womens football take this progressive step forward.

Thank you everyone for your contributions this year, remember to put your thoughts on facebook womensoccer.com.au and see you all at the Night Series!
